Unleash your creativity in this two-part workshop where you'll transform your hand-drawn designs into a custom fabric and craft a one-of-a-kind pillow!

Class 1: Design Your Fabric

In the first session, you'll learn how to create a repeat pattern by hand, starting with sketching, refining, and arranging your design for seamless repetition. I will guide you through techniques to ensure your pattern is print-ready. At the end of the class, you'll finalize your design, which will be professionally printed onto a yard of fabric.

What You’ll Learn: Basics of repeat patterns, design layout, and color planning.

Provided Materials: Paper, pencils, markers, and I will help you set up your own fabric account and digitize your design!

Class 2: Sew Your Pillow

Once your custom fabric arrives (approximately 2-3 weeks later), you'll return to the studio to sew a small pillow.

Learn basic hand sewing techniques to cut, assemble, and stitch your design into a functional and beautiful piece for your home or as a gift. If you have a machine, you're welcome to bring it to use!

What You’ll Learn: Sewing basics, pillow assembly, and finishing touches.

Provided Materials: Thread, pillow stuffing or inserts, and additional supplies.

Skill Level: Beginners welcome! No prior sewing or design experience needed.

Dates: Class 1 - Sunday, February 9

Class 2 - Sunday, February 23 (after fabric delivery).

Duration: Each session lasts approximately 2 hours.

Includes all supplies and one yard of custom-printed fabric. You will have extra fabric after your pillow is created.
